Every four years we the people of the United States are given the opportunity and privilege to vote for our successor. Yet many choose to pick the most ignorant and disrespectful person in the election. Why and how did this happen? As the election ended on November 9, 2016 many people weren't please with the results and went on protests and riot. Many people still continue to debate on how Trump won if Clinton had the majority of votes. In my opinion, we all have a voice in these elections but the people who voted weren't heard and were put down by their race, religion, gender, sexuality, & etc. In conclusion, in every battle there's a winner but in all honesty America lost.
Wouldn't it be scary if someone who always disrespected your race, or gender, religion or maybe even your sexuality became president of your beloved country. Well that's what exactly happen after Trump winning on November 9, 2016. After the results of Trump winning, Clinton supporters or people in general who didn't like Trump began to protest on how he will never become their president. People began to rant, "He's not my President," referring to Trump and how his ignorance will lead to a unforgivable four years. People who don't support Trump on his win continue to rise and protest, people who were harness of where they came from share on social media some really mess experiences. All this over a man who does not care about his job and will continue on hating to gain more and more supporters.
Even after riots and protests on his win none of this will change the fact that he have already won, but is there a chance of him being replace of his privilege. Many have noticed that Hillary Clinton had the majority of votes yet still lost, how can this be possible. Electoral college votes count the most and Trump won half of them to win the election, but many have protested that this wasn't fair. Many have said if they voted will their voice be heard but in tis case it wasn't because majority voted for Clinton yet Trump won in a not so fair way. It has been said that maybe there could be a chance that Hillary could win the presidency because she did have the majority of votes and the electoral votes don't count until December 19. So there could still be a chance that Hillary could win an if she does there still will be a lost but not in a bad way as Trump being elected.
Many people woke up with the news of Trump being elected, how did it feel I felt like I was dreaming, i laugh at the fact that he was elected president. I told myself and others that he was elected president by people who were ignorant who just didn't want to hear our sides. They told us to stop complaining because when Obama was elected they were afraid to walk out because of their race. The only people who should feel safe are the people who are longside with trump and support him. None of us in The United States feel safe because of religion, race, gender, sexuality, and many more. Trump is just going to make America worst and we'll see whose afarid now. Four years will go slowly with him, I wouldn't be too suprise if he starts World War 3.
Even after a speech after another speech from successful people of the U.S people still wanted to elect Trump for President. The fact that Trump won made me laugh and honestly pinch myself from thinking it was a dream. Im a kid with no rights to vote but i have a voice, a voice that said that i don't feel safe anymore. A voice that every kid has and probably has never been heard because we don't have rights to vote. The right to said that Clinton won because of majority of votes, that Trump is not my president. But in every battle theirs is a lost and a win but in all honesty America lost.
